A rent a room in a house, so I bought this rechargeable vacuum at walmart for about $35. Pros: price, maintenance, power, storage (the handle folds all the way down), relatively quiet, and cordless.Cons: Battery dies fairly quickly, brush gets stuck if you try to vacuum long hair, takes 12 plus hours to recharge.This is good for small areas only (one room in a house, an rv, area rugs). It should not be expected to take the place of a full-sized upright. I have to keep it on bare floor when I clean my carpet, due to my long hair getting stuck around the roller bar. It still does great on this setting, picking up things I can't even see. If you want to do a really great job, however, you may have to charge it again and finish later. I highly recommend it for those on a budget, who just need something to keep a small space clean.

As a cordless easy to use vacuum on bare floors or small, short carpets it works okay. However the belt wears out and there are no replacement parts. I called Dirt Devil and they do not have the belts available for order. So essentially this is a throw away vacuum when the belt wears out. Don't buy it.

i got this vacuum 2 months ago, at first i was happy with it for what i need it just light every day cleaning, not for a deep vaccuming not powerfull in off, now i see starting loosing power and the worse thing every time i use it all the dirt inside the bag comes right back out every time you lift it.Piece of junk cheap price you pay what you pay.
