Just received mine today from TotalVac IncAfter opening the box, it looks like the bag was previously opened and resealed with scotch tape. I inspected the filter and found that the filter is sew'ed onto the plastic rim and was falling apart so there is a gap between the filter and the plastic rim.Returning it and will not seek replacement.Just to add that I thought I would need this washable filter with the Eureka 71B Hand-Held Vacuum I bought, but the Eureka manual says the included filter can be rinsed under running water, so I don't need this after all.

I got this for a Eureka Hand-Held Vacuum, 71B. I opened it up and what I received is exactly the same as the one that I got with my 71B... In the manual for the 71B, it states that the filter is NOT washable... This one says it is...So I sprayed the old one out. It's fine. So now I guess I have two washable filters... Anyway - good product, but you might already have one...<The white filter material feels somewhat like threads of plastic instead of feeling like fabric... If yours feels like plastic, I would advise trying to spray it out before ordering this to save yourself some money and hassle. The worst that will happen is you'll destroy the filter you were about to replace anyway.>

I love this little thing. And I have a long haired cat. Just empty and throw in the washer. I do air dry it though. I don't think it would be dryer safe.

just got this replacement filter in the mail but it doesn't appear to fit very well. it doesn't really seal and therefore the suction isn't adequate. not sure it's even worth sending back, but it doesn't seem to fit at all. no instructions came with the filter so not sure what to do.

I purchased 2 of these filters, but am still on the first one after 6 months. I have cleaned it twice with water rinse. No issues with filter, works great for car and other small jobs.

I put it in the vacuum and it works. Havent tried washing it yet though. Is cheaper than the official one so no reason no to purchase

I purchased this filter as a replacement for my Eureka 71B hand vac. I liked the fact it is washable. When I tried the filter, I was a little disappointed.This filter seems to fit correctly & seals in the vac, but restricts suction. The vacuum has about half (or less) the amount of suction than when the original filter was used. The old filter didn't have the plastic feel on the outside of it. I ordered a filter from Eureka and received just about the same as this one, so I now have two. It must be an upgrade or something. The two filters cost me just about the same with shipping.Crucial Vacuum Inc. lists EasyClean model numbers calling them Quick Up. The Eureka 71B is an EasyClean vac. This filter fits and works just like the one I got from Eureka's website.

This filter is a great replacement for the filter that came with my vacuum. Stands up well to washing - air dry before putting back into the vacuum.

Bought this with the vacation and glad I did. This allows me to wash and dry a dirty filter buy still have the use of my vacuum.
