I ordered this little gem after reading many reviews (as I always do) of units from high end to low end on amazon. I finally decided to pull the trigger on this critter. It's the newest version of the model that's why there's not any reviews. Anyways, this power cleaner does a great job and is as easy as 1 2 3. It does everybit as good a job as the rug docs you can rent. Its not a true steamer, but just add tap water as hot as you can get it (and boo ya) there you go! It's a snap to assemble, super lite, and best of all easy to clean and easy to use. Be sure and take your time cleaning it after each use. You can buy any liquid cleaner designed for these machines. I bought a kirby brand cleaner (cheaper) and it works great. Oh, and also this unit has a snap on adaptor for hardfloors that works well. It comes with two small bottles of cleaner. One for carpet, and one for hardfloors. Overall, this Bissell is worth every cent! Highly recommended!

This is a product I needed badly since I just moved into a trailer where previous tenants, drug addicts I was told and believe since we found papers for rules to the jail they lived part time, but, that's another story, now back to the product. The previous tenants smashed walls and did as much damage as possible so you can imagine all the work we had to put into it. With all the dust and dirt the rug took a beating. Well I figured for what you pay to rent a rug doctor I would try this and boy am glad I did. You wouldn't believe the dirt this thing picked up even after we vacuumed a few times. The water just about turned to mud. Well to bring this to a close it was like I had a new rug, great product and very easy to use. P.S. You may think the cleaner liquid is espensive but let me tell you, it will last a long time since you use so little of it.

Let me preface this with the fact that I am handicapped and the words "some assembly required" strike terror in my heart. Let me tell you the hardest part of assembling this item is finding a Phillips-head screwdriver. From opening the box to the finished product took about 5 minutes with arthritis in both hands. It's also easy to fill and empty, does a great job on my carpets. If you have pets that have "accidents" then get the proper Bissell Shampoo otherwise the shampoo that comes with this product works great. Overall it can't be beat for the money.

I am disabled, I use crutches and was really nervous about using this item because I had used a rented RugDoctor machine and I couldn't even push it. This machine is a dream! I can push it and it glides over the top of the carpet. I kept confusing the push pull motion of when to push the liquid out but I finally got the hang of it! I cleaned a living room that had a cat before me and a dog that I own (puppy). It's really a great machine! The water I got was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dirty! It's like this carpet is now a different color than it was when I started. However, I will redo the carpet one more time in the morning so that I can make sure the carpet is 100% clean and I'll do this one with pet carpet cleaner so that I can make sure it will get all the pet stains out. It took me 2 fills of detergent and water to clean the room, probably 15x15. I hope that this gets all the junk out. I don't see the problem with it cleaning the carpet like many have stated or barely touching the carpet. It's actually pretty good. If you're disabled or have balance issues or arthritis and want to clean carpet, get this machine! Make this machine the one you buy! Also, for those of us who are disabled or elderly, I want to also shout out to Bissell for making the containers "easy grab" and "not easy to spill!" When it was time to empty it, I was like UH OH! How do i get that stuff out and the machine back together without spilling! One thing I didn't find out is how to clean the grates, I had to stick a knife in there and get the junk out, mostly pet hair.

I read the reviews of this product on this site and a few other sites. I'm glad I went ahead and made the purchase. THe Quicksteamer does a very good job on the carpet. I've had stains that have been in my carpet for years that came out with this baby. Follow the directions, go slow with your passes over the carpet and do multiple passes like the directions say and you will be happy. I was also happy at the results on hard floor surfaces. It's also pretty quiet for a carpet cleaner. If you don't want to spend $200-$300 on a carpet cleaner, this will do a great job and save you some money.

I am not a spokesperson for Bissel as a matter of fact after having used one of their heavier larger models then going to physicaal therapy myself for shoulder injury acquired through work and aggrevated by pushing the heavier model, I sought out a smaller model..not necessarily made by Bissel. However, Biseel had most of the features I was looking for in a lightweight model and for only $79 before tax at Br-ndsm-rt (would have bought it for $89) but wanted to see it/feel it first. I am very happy with the price and with care (which is easy in this model)it may last me as long or even longer than the other more expensive, clunkier, heavier models (each of which lasted me ~1 year before belts, heating elements, and bags started breaking...majorly disappointing!) (I am a heavy user of this type of product= ~2 times a week..3 fully carpeted rooms..low/medium pile)I ABSOLUTELY recommend this product for the following reasons:1) lightweight to push and lift (may be good for carpeted stairs)2) easy on/off foot pedal and easy water trigger on the handle3) low noise (especially compared to larger units)4) light water tank (the one gallon ones are just too darn heavy to carry)5) powerful little motor (and I have used both h--ver and full size bissel steam cleaners....and based on the results, I find this one to be just as effective if not more because of the narrow head which makes hard to reach ares more easily accessible)6) great for pet owners! (I have two dogs..one of which is naughty)7) great for everyday spills (got up a very set in coffee stain from my light beige carpet in under 3 minutes with excellent results) set in doggie stains need a bit more time and quite a few passes...not perfect but darn close! and as good as the heavier models only without the pain in the neck or shoulder8) takes up way less room to store in a small closet9) works very nicely on tile..though I think the sponge tip on the attachment piece will wear quickly and can already see myself trying to design something home-made to fit over it in order to help it last longer.10) the price is affordable.Thank You Bissel..my arms, shoulder, neck, back, closet, carpets, and wallet appreciate this product! I shall be recommending this personally to my 87 year old independently living neighbor with her ancient one eyed absolutely adorable poodle who sometimes doesn't make it to the front door)PS if you are looking for actual steam ...there is no onboard heating element, and steam is a falacy with most "steam" cleaners anyway...hot tap water is all that is needed. This is not a real steam cleaner like my big Hoover, but it does what I need it to do. I have two long hair cats and I cannot tell you how many hairball vomit spots are on my carpet in an average week! I've been using my big Hoover at least once every 3 months to do my whole apartment, but other times I do just a quick clean with a paper towel and Resolve on the spots. I'm tired of having to do my carpets all the time because that Hoover is heavy and I've hurt my back using it. I've lived in the same apartment for almost 5 years and the carpets look almost as good as when I first moved in because of my Hoover.Now, onto this little guy. I love it. It's NOT for old stains so get that out of your head. It's not a steamer so it's not going to do the job like a steamer. I have no idea why they even bothered putting that in the name, BUT... on fresh spots it works GREAT! I used it on a spot that was a couple weeks old, even after putting Resolve on it, and the stain was still there, but very faint. I used it on a day old spot and Poof...gone! That's the reason I bought it. I keep it ready to go so when I see a spot I clean it up in no time without having to get on my hands and knees and then eventually having to take out the big machine. With this little lightweight machine I won't have to do my whole apartment so often.Now on to the cost, for the lack of steam and actual rotating brush (I don't think it actually rotates) I think the cost at $89.95 (Lowes) is way too high. This should be more like $59.95. But, since it works for what I need it too and it's saving me time and aggravation of dealing with my big Hoover, I decided it was a good purchase. I'm happy with it. It's small, lightweight and real easy to use. I love that the water bottle is only a half gallon vs a whole heavy gallon. This thing is about half the size of my Hoover so I can leave it out and it's not in the way.I'm glad I bought it.

Good value too. The machine works well on carpeted floors when I take the time to use a fresh hot water solution each time. Even for the in-betweens when I just use the water at room temp, it will usually clean up the pet accidents that I primarily use it for.The unit comes with an adapter for hard-surface use; a feature that I thought I'd never use but recently I decided to give it a try (the unit came with a bottle of cleaner for hard floors.) It worked very well on ceramic tile (and grout.) The floor was much cleaner than the results I get with my Swifter mop.I like the size, the ease of use and I appreciated the easy assembly. As other reviewers have mentioned, don't expect to use this little machine for your entire house, or even for an entire room - but if you need it for spots and small areas, it's perfect.

I saw a Bissell steam cleaner on QVC and asked my husband for it. We had free Prime Shipping on Amazon so he looked for the one with the best reviews and purchased this one. It SUCKS! It is light weight and barely even touches the carpet as it glides across the top. I did get dirty water up but none of the stains came up and this was on a new carpet. I had spilled detergent of all things on the rug and it soaked in and stained it. I tried to suck it up with the Bissell and it did absolutely nothing. I figured that water and suction on liquid clothes detergent would work but it did nothing. And might I just add that the detergent was dye and perfume free.I think I would spend more money and get a heavier steam cleaner. This one is like the dust buster of steam cleaners.

This bissell works great on carpets! Especially for the price! Awesome!!! The hard floor tool is not that great. I find the swiffer works better on the tile than dragging this thing out. It takes along time for the hard floors to dry. But it works really well on the carpets and is well worth the money for just the carpet cleaner. The cleaner also lasts a long time. I haven't had to buy it yet and the one that came in the box lasted over 4 cleaning sessions.
