This thing was the biggest waste of $200+ that I have ever spent. First off, I bought it to mainly clean hard floors (vinyl flooring mostly) but the steam sprays forward from one nozzel as opposed to down onto the floor. It sprays forward into a terry pocket that fits on the end of a wand, so the terry gets soaking wet and the floor gets the same cleaning as if you mopped with hot water! I used to own a Eureka Enviro-steamer that sprayed the steam down through several vents directly thru a terry bonnet onto the floor... straight down!! The Eureka worked fabulously except that I had to refill it 3 or 4 times to do all my floors so I gave it away and wasted my hard earned $$$ on this piece of garbage. Now, fast forward to 8 months after I buy it and the on/off switch that controls the steam flow is broken and I cannot turn it OFF!! So I can't use this thing at all because it doesn't build up pressure because the water is spraying out of the tip before it can generate any steam because it won't shut off!! I called the company after an hour of searching the web to find out who to call and guess what????? I have to pay to ship this thing to them with ALL the attachments and then pay to have it shipped back to me!!! DO I NEED TO SPEND ANOTHER 40 OR 50 DOLLARS ON SHIPPING????????? Needless to say, I'm aggravated as all get-out over this thing and my husband is mad that I gave away the Eureka on top of it all!!DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! BETTER YET, EVEN IF YOU ARE OFFERED IT FOR FREE DON'T BOTHER!!!

Great product, easy to use... just learn what works for you. Must call company if you want soap or towels.. little hassle. Only one towel for hard surfaces... What is that all about? Bought automotive towels, used lots, so this was good, need to wipe after using the steamer. Try using Odor-Sol for ordors... Odor-Sol 32 oz. Quart Concentrate Industrial Strength, (works great....)(...)

I reviewed lots of steam cleaners and decided on the Euro-Pro Shark, for performance, reliability and cost. I have not been disappointed. It's a great appliance with lots of features, and I've used it throughout the house. I was a bit disappointed in the beginning because I thought it would work like magic on impossible stains (watching too many infomercials), but it does get them out if you repeat the treatment or use a green scratch pad on appropriate surfaces. It not only worked well in the bathrooms and kitchen (no more chemicals to bother with), but also on the tile floors and extremely well on carpet spots. In fact it got the carpet spots so clean, I have to clean the entire carpet. With the right attachment, it cleans my tile floors faster and much better than using a mop, and clean up is easier (just toss the terry cloth pad in the washer). This may be the best appliance in my house.

I have a Euro-Pro Shark Professional Electronic Hard Surface Steam Cleaner with Soap Injector! I love it I can do everything in the house. I took it to work to get WAX out of the carpet and it worked. GONE... It takes a little getting use to it, but once you find what works for you, You too will love it!I like the part that you can clean with or without chemicals. I have put lysol on the floor (spray bottle) and cleaned with it that way... I go over it again with a clean cloth to make it sparkle...You need to find the towels, HSN.com had them so I ordered them at the same time. Glad I did cuz you use LOTS of towels... (go get a bag of towels in the automotive section, A MUST)You only get one towel for the hard wood floor. That is a bummer cuz I use this part to clean the walls (hard to get places) Works great! just wish I had more towels, so I turn it inside out. Make sure you let it sit before adding water... so I just do a job and go to another room pick up and then I can use it again. Takes about 10 mins. to heat up. I can wait.. I do something else that is all.All the experts say "take one room at a time anyways..."Cleans the Fridge... Wonderful.I wish I would of had this when I first moved into my home... Some hard to get places... you still need some elbow grease but after that what a BREEZE... I love my kitchen floor!!

I was waffling between 2 stars and 3 stars because this isn't a horrible product...but it could have been alot better with minor modifications.On The positive side:The unit arrived on time.It heats up quickly.It produces lots of steam.Mop and window attachments have worked particularly well.On The negative side:I was supposed to be able to download a product manual but the file is defunct.The soap dispensor attachment did not work inititially. (I disassembled it and fixed the problem in 5 minutes..but it was still a pain.Product overview included "internal cord storage" it did not have this feature. (I assume they refer to manually spooling the cord around the casters on the caddy for storage as "internal cord storage" but it is misleading at best.Product overview reported "easy to use rotary dial" I still have no I dea what that refers to.There is no water level gauge to help you know how much water is left in the machine/ or when it is close to "full" when filling it.The shoulder strap system is awkward. The product is lightweight, however carrying the product over your shoulder so that it constantly hits you in the thigh is annoying (it would be much more convenient to be able to carry it like a backpack. This would deman a dramatically different design.There is no pressure guage or way of knowing when the unit is "safe enough to open up..." (There is just a sticker that reminds the user to wait 15 minutes after unplussing the machine before opening it to refill it.... and oh yes... to make sure that the user "depress and hold the steam release trigger" to make sure that the tank isnt pressurized before opening the tank. -- of course the unit does not have a steam release trigger...it has an electronic switch which only works if the unit is plugged in. This creates a saftey hazzard because if you unplug the unit from the wall and wait 15 minutes....there will still be alot of hotwater/steam/ and pressure in the tank. If you click the electronic switch to open ( and nothing happens because the unit is unplugged) you may assume the unit is safe and open and thus release all the pent up steam which puts you at risk for a nasty hand burn.I agree with previous reviewers that ordering extra supplies of mop heads and soap is inconvenient.The machine does perform it's primary function (cleaning) well...but the deficiencies in product design, misleading advertising, plus poor documentation/ difficulty reodering supplies all compel me to recommend looking for other steam cleaning options

Leaves floor rather wet,I would not use on wood. This unit performs NOTHING like the infomercials. I kept it for mopping only. I have alot of tile and it works great on it. If I had to do it again I would buy the other shark machine for $99. NOTHING ELSE really worked on this machine.UPDATE!!! The whole machine wouldnt turn on before I had had it even six months... What garbage.. Plastic pieces were cracking and couldnt stand up to the heat.. The machine just died.. Save your money

Bought one after seeing a friend use hers. The unit works well I know but the downsize for me is the clumsiness aspect. No storage unit for all the attachments, so I had to go buy a carry bag to haul the attachments in. My unit has a roller caddy and a shoulder carrier which is nice. Bought the extra terry pad set up. Ended up giving it away to someone on a Freecycle group I belong to. My cottage is easy to clean and if I need a steam cleaner one of the makers small hand units does the job better for me.

I have had the Euro-Pro for over 3 years now. I absolutely love the work it does. It easily removes soap scum, stains in the sink, grimy grease on the stove and kitchen cabinets and cleans shower doors well.The only downfall is the waiting period. Before re-filling you have to observe the cooling period, otherwise you might risk the chance of burning yourself from the hot steam. This process can take upto 15-20 minutes. Other than that, this product is effective and very useful. I use it in my kitchen, bathroom, car, & floors.

The McCulloch is $65 less, has a greater capacity and far better quality.It does not surprise me that the 'Manual' for the Euro-Pro is not available. I made the mistake of purchasing one of these and requested a manual (Perhaps my 'Hindi' is rusty.) Anyway, a year later and still no manual. I have found virtually all the Euro-Pro products to contain more defective pieces than 'hassle-free' ones. If you purchsed this one, and it works, God bless you. If you are counting on 'customer service' (LMAO), make sure you keep plenty of PeptoBismal on hand.

it seems that the steamer only works twice the two times it does work its great but then it is over the steamer just quits all together this is my second one to quit and my friends third one so we will not try another thank you i was so dissapointed it was so good and a needed item for cleaning but it wont hold up
