Just thought I would let you know the vacuum is worth $ 200.00 do not pay any more then that, it is made in the U.S.A. which is its strongest selling point. The second is that it really sucks and works great, but there is absolutely, no extras or any whistles as per say, so if you just need a good vacuum cleaner, this is it.Remember you can purchase it easy for $200., on line, this is a Commercial Vacuum cleaner, so do not pay any more then $200., this is a super light and easy vacuum cleaner, but it is all plastic and light. Some people say it is loud, it is but it works good, maybe even great.

I bought this for my 92 year old mother who insists on doing her own vacuuming and only wants to use an Oreck. This one is light enough for her to move around, works beautifully, and is a good value.

I purchased my second Oreck a month ago... I decided I wanted to keep my first one downstairs and not have to bring it up and downstairs.... my 2nd Oreck is a commercial model... almost vacuums by itself... so very lightweight ... I LOVE it... I clean house for my daughter who is going through chemo... she has a Dyson.... I have a backache for at least a day after using that vacuum... sure do appreciate the light weightness of the Oreck.... but is has ALOT of "suck" power... HIGHLY recommend this vacuum !!!!!

I have allergies to just about everything,paticularly dust. I have switched my upright to the Oreck using the hypoallergenic bags. The upright I used originally seemed to be doing the job, however, ten minutes after vacuumming I noticed dust particles settling on the furniture and everywhere else. Shortly thereafter I had a migraine. Since I switched to the Oreck, I no longer have to dust everything after vacuumming and have reduced my allergy symptoms significantly. The Oreck contains the dust particles in the hypoallergenic bag ,is light weight and flexible enough to vaccum in tight areas. Love it , love it, love it!!!

I've been using Oreck Vacuums for years. I know that there are other vacuums on the market that look great and have a lot of hype, but forget them! This is the best and it lasts forever. It's light, gets under beds, easy to use, and cleans great.

We've had Hoover, Eureka, Dust Devil, and Kenmore vacuums. The Oreck is as good as any of them, has ample suction, has a nice long cord, is lightweight, gets into corners and under furniture with little effort. You can do steps without getting a weight-lifting workout. I checked with several Consumer review sources before buying and don't understand why Oreck is not rated higher. We took a chance and are very satisfied.

I read the reviews and chose this commercial Oreck. So glad I did! I didn't need lots of attachments, I just wanted a lightweight, high powered vacuum that could clean under the furniture. My Oreck and I race around the house and get the vacuuming done quickly and easily! It's GREAT and I'm happy!

I got mine at Big Lots Dept Store. I paid $99.00, and it was refurbished. This came with a full warranty.I have had it now for about 2 months. Its a very basic no frills added vac. Does a great job. Now if I could just teach my cat to run it, I would have it made in the shade.
