These vacuum bags were advertised an Hoover Type 4010100Y but what I got was a cheap Chinese made immitation. I tried one of them and there are not close to Hooover quality or performance. You should ban this seller from Amazon.

I returned these bags because when they showed up the package was totally different from the ones I ordered (or thought I ordered). The ad in Amazon said these were the original Hoover bags, but when I received them they were manufactured in China for some company called Envirocare. The original Hoover bags are made in the USA. If I wanted another brand I would've ordered them. I don't like false advertising...so even if they are a good product, they should put the correct picture up.

Buyer beware! The Hoover bags shown on the website are not the bags that are shipped. I was shipped "made for Hoover" bags manufactured by EnviroCare. The bags arrived in the mail today and I've already printed my return authorization for the non-Hoover bags. Amazon's customer-friendly return policy allowed me to handle the problem easily. I'm ordering the genuine Hoover bags from another Amazon supplier today.

Like others, I received cheap China imitations instead of genuine Hoover bags as pictured. Amazon personnel were terrific and I returned them immediately.I was really upset that I got the imitations - I had read the reviews and saw that others had not received genuine Hoover bags. I guess that I thought that I was going to be treated differently. I wasn't and you probably won't be either!!Caveat emptor...

First the complaint - these bags are awfully pricey considering that they fill up so fast. The bag is too big for the compartment, so you have to fold it over at the top and bottom to get it to fit into the allotted space. Despite having owned this model vacuum for seven years, I still need three hands to get the corners of the over-sized bag tucked into place before slamming the compartment shut.Changing the bag is a dirty bit of business, because when you pull the old bag off, all that super-fine dust at the top goes *POOF* and escapes from the bag's opening . We've taken to putting the vacuum on the back porch before opening up the bag compartment to keep dust out of our home.I see a name brand competitor has come up with a solution to this by putting a little trap door thingie by the bag's opening, so when you pull the bag off the vacuum, all the dust doesn't fly out of the bag and go *POOF*.Okay - the positive - these Hoover paper bags do a decent job of trapping fine dust particles, but I do wish they'd figure out how to make bag removal and installation easier. Or just make the bag a different shape so you're not contorting it to get it into the allotted space.More recently, I've started using Filtrete (3M) bags. Made of cloth, they're lined with an electrostatically charged media which captures dust and dirt down to .3 microns. Because they're cloth (instead of stiff paper, like these bags), they're much easier to install into the Hoover vacuum.On another note, I keep seeing that these bags are offered at this site under the heading of "used". This seems a little bizarre!

The bags you receive in the mail will not be Hoover bags as in the picture. You will receive cheap knock-off bags from this seller, but will be charged full price. This is a total rip off and false advertising. Amazon needs to eliminate all sellers who falsely represent their products!!

The picture is of Hoover brand bags, and brand name is the reason I purchased these. What they send is some unknown Chinese brand of inferior bags. Do NOT buy from this seller!

The bags displayed in the product image are not what's being shipped. I uploaded the photos of what I received, cheap generic no-name bags. The bags have very low capacity so you will be changing these after a couple months or sooner if your pet sheds a lot. Don't waste your money on these cheap imitations.

Not to much to say about these vacuum bags.....as long as they fit my vacuum, which they did, and works well, which they did, I'm happy. I will be buying more soon. I would give 5 stars but I rarely do that unless something is perfection. I do wish they offered more than 3 in a bag since I have 2 of the same vacuums, one upstairs and one downstairs. Guess I need to order 2 bags of 3 when ordering next time but you never know when buying for the first time if they will work or not.

Ordered HOOVER Disposable allergen filtration bags, but I too received an Anti-Allergen which came in a greenish/yellow packaging. This item is from EnviroCare technologies, NOT HOOVER. Not sure if amazon is aware of this, but I'll give them a try and update this review later.
