Picked up a model 8810AVZ Eureka Pet Lover's bag less vac from BigLots! for $80. Never thought I'd find a vacuum that I actually like. First time around got more than 2 full canisters of dust, right after using my older Eureka Boss model.Big difference in suction and ease of use. Easy one button dust canister emptying. HEPA filter is reusable, just rinse it under warm water and let dry (should last for a year or two).Pros: easy change bag less, long cord, fairly lightweight design, great rolling roller wheels, wide track brush, pet "claw" adapter, easy one step upright lock, HEPA filtration.Cons: tubing is a bit short for hose use.

I have a Eureka TrueClean(which appears to not be sold anymore) and love it, the first time I used it, just after my Dirt Devil(have had terrible experience with those) broke - The canister was packed halfway full with dirt from just my living room. Disgusting! but says A LOT about the quality of Eurekas in that they pick up EVERYTHING. So when my grandfather's old vacuum broke this week I told him, get a Eureka and don't bother with anything else. Same experience for him. I vacuumed just his living room and the canister was halfway FULL of dirt. over the whole house I more than filled the canister (though I emptied it after each area)Anyways- he actually got the 8810AVZ model called "In-Reach" which I can't find anywhere online but, it seems to be the same as this one 8811AVZ just with different packaging. It works great-picks up everything. pretty quiet. easy to put together. however, I agree that the canister is not the easiest to empty. I actually prefer the open top canister to just turn over and dump out. this one flips open on the bottom and it took me a couple minutes to get it to pop open the first time. I am not sure how durable this function will be. also this vacuum causes a static shock (I was wearing pants and it was a mild shock, when my leg hit the vacuum - many times while I was vacuuming for my grandfather-not a big deal to me but others may be more sensitive.)Definitely get a Eureka if you are looking for a vacuum in this price range. but I would prefer the open top canister to the flip-bottom canister.

Just received this item and put it to use. I have a 800 sq ft. apartment with two large dogs and a cat. I got fed up with my last vacuum and decided to get a new one. After much research and having a budget in mind I chose this one.Pros:1. Good suction2. Pet Paw worked great on micro fiber sectional (although it did sound like a drill)3. washable filters4. moves well for size and weight5. duster cleaner was pretty coolCons:1. a pain to empty (the part with the handle to hold the canister kept coming apart, no matter how well I "snapped" into place it would disconnect causing the bottom to fall into the trash or on the carpet, very annoying"2. bottom hose by wheel was a magnet for hair (i cleaned a large clump off of the outside of vacuum when I was finished)3. duster not the greatest as far as picking up dustOverall I am satisfied with this vacuum, but I have only used it once. Will keep review updated as time progresses.

This vacuum works pretty well...I like how easy it is to dump the canister, and it's really easy to assemble...The self-cleaning duster wand is also pretty cool, just remember to static charge it for 10 seconds before dusting or it won't work very well, and the price is good. I do have a couple complaints though. #1, it's a bit heavy and doesn't self propel as much as I would like. #2, the hose isn't long enough, so that paired with it's heaviness doesn't make it very good for stairs.. #3, it doesn't get the baseboards as well as it says it will...I still have to use the hose (that's not long enough) and the tools to get the baseboards good.

I have owned serveral $200 and 300 dollar vacuums and my old hover died on me and I was looking for a replacement and came across this one and decided to give it a chance for the cheap price. I have LOVED it ever since! It has awesome suction, works great and has all the same tools I had on my expensive models. I will buy this vacuum over and over again. The only thing I dont like is the agitator does not stop spinning when the handel is up so I tip it back wards so it dont burn the carpet standing in one place while I use the hand tools. But on the upside it comes with a free belt to replace it when it goes bad and breaks. So as far as I am concerned it's the best vacuum I have ever bought and have told other people I know to buy it also because they where looking for a new vacuum too!! So if your in the market for a great vacuum that has tons of suckion and works great then BUY THIS VACUUM! I dont work for them and have NOT been paid by them to write this. I am just a disabled man that was in need of a good cheap vacuum and this one fit the bill!! So dont hesatate to buy this if you need one, I would tell anyone to buy it!! I hope this helps you in deciding.BUY THIS VACUUM, Best one on the market for the price hands down!!!!!

I bought this vacuum because of the excellent customer reviews. I'm not usually a reviewer -- but I have to add my happy experience! I was prepared from the other reviews that it would pick up the pet hair well. I wasn't prepared for how well it picked up DIRT. Yikes. I didn't know there was so much in my carpet! The price was excellent at Amazon -- but it would have been worth it if I'd had to pay more.

We purchased this because our old vacuum was no longer working. We researched many possible options in stores and online. This product had good reviews and was in our price range. We have had it a little over a month and so far it works very well. I really like all of the attachments, making cleaning furniture very easy. Like all uprights I've ever used, it does not work well on wood/tile/laminate flooring despite a "setting". It does work very well on our low-pile carpet.

Good vacuum. Great pet paw. This cleaned embedded cat hair off the needlepoint seat on a chair that 2 previous vacuums didn't. Easy assembly if u read the instructions. Very quick delivery with normal shipping.

I have owned numerous vacuums over the years and have never used a vacuum that exceeds my expectations like the Eureka 8811AVZ Pet Lover Deluxe Upright Vacuum. 03/21 - I contacted Amazon regarding this item as not working only 60 days after I bought it. Two weeks ago I took the vacuum cleaner to the authorized repair person. It was supposed to fixed in 4-5 days. 2 Weeks later the repair shop called me back and said that Eureka was not going to honor the warranty. I used the vacuum 8 or 9 times in 2 months and now I'm stuck with a vacuum that has a 2 year warranty that the repair shop wants me to pay for and so they can submit to Eureka for payment under warranty. I have been buying from Amazon for years and due to this transaction, I will never buy an electronic from Amazon.com again.!!! BAD03/21 - I called Eureka directly and spoke with a representative who went over all of my information and told me that because the repair shop said I vacuumed my floor and dirt got into the motor, it was my fault and they are not going to honor the warranty. 2 Trips each 78 miles one way, spent over $100 in gas and gone through their warranty process and No vacuum and out over $100 and the repair shop still wants me to pay $68 to fix the vacuum that I've used 8 times.Eureka Pet Lover Deluxe Bagless Upright Vacuum, 8811AVZThis item was purchased in mid October.It stopped working in December.It has a 1 year manufacturers warranty, but Amazon states the return was only available through November 19Now it sits with a dead motor and I have no way to return it.This is not what I expected of Amazon.Buy this item locally where the seller will work with you to honor the warranty and get you a new vacuum.
