I have a Golden Retreiver who makes a mess on the floor when eating her biscuits plus she sheds a lot. After checking out many reviews, I purchased this Hoover Stick Vac for quick pick-ups rather than constantly having to pull out my large vac. With the rolling brush, it does a great job of getting any crumbs and hair off carpeting and bare floor. The see-through dirt cup allows you to see when the cup is full. It is light weight and does not make a lot of noise. I am very pleased with this purchase and am considering buying another one for a back room. Amazon had the best price.

After researching many stick vacs, I bought this one because it has the option to vacuum carpets as well as bare floors. I'm impressed with the powerful suction, slim head for getting under cabinets and couches, and it's overall slim design and light weight for overall use and storage. It's also super easy to remove the dirt cup to empty it's contents. The only thing I thought wasn't great was the swivel steering, but it's not enough to rate this less than 5 stars. Overall this is a great vacuum for quick cleanups for hard wood and tile floors.

So far, so good. I love the way it turns on a dime, is very quiet, gets up close to the mouldings and picks up everthing. Highly recommend this product.

I purchased the hoover corded cyclonic stick vacuum. It works very well, however,the screw to hold in the handle would not stay in. I called and hoover sent 2 replacements. They did not work so they sent a new handle. That did not solve the problem so when I contacted them they informed I was now past my 30day warranty. I told them it took them over a weeks to send replacement screw and another almost 4 weeks to send handle. They told me I have to take it to a hoover repair. I am not happy about the way Hoover has handled this.

I decided to purchase this stick vac after reading the reviews on this site. My intent was to use this vac maybe once a week as a supplement to hauling out my old Electrolux canister vac more than once a week. My apartment is approximately 850 SF with very low pile wall to wall carpet. The kitchen and bathroom are linoleum. I have two Ragdoll cats; one with long hair. I use the closet in the 8X10 BR to house their litter box and I wanted this vac to work easily in that space, along with the remainder of the 8X10 room. The vac performed as I had hoped and I give that 5 stars. I also wanted to use the bare floor function for the bathroom and kitchen/fatigue mat...this also gets 5 stars. I really like the swivel function especially on the kitchen floor when going between chair legs; it also works well in the small 8X10 carpeted room. The height of the handle is perfect (I'm 5' 8") and even the noise level is more than tolerable for its size. The ease of cleaning the dirt cup is very good and it has a removable baffle tube that swirls pet hair around it. This baffle tube is is incredibly easy to remove, clean, and replace back into the dirt cup with just proper positioning and a gentle twist. Finally, I gave this product a 4 star rating only because it isn't perfect. It isn't designed to recline back far enough to vac under the bed but it does a good job under the edges of chairs, etc. due to its low profile. The on/off switch (and the cord) could be set higher. Given this products' intended use and size the suction is probably appropriate but I would like to see just a little more.This handy little vac actually looks and feels like an upright but at way less than half the weight and bulkiness. It's one of those tools that is actually encouraged to be used just by its ease of use and design. I highly recommend this Hoover Cyclonic Stick Vac.

I couldn't wait to use this vacuum. It was recommended by a co-worker. I retired an old vacuum cleaner that I was using to vacuum the wood floors and low pile area rugs. That old vacuum cleaner wasn't pickup anything compared to the new vacuum cleaner, it even wowed my mom. My old vacuum I still had to use the the broom and dustpan afterwards to get the floor to even feel and look clean after vacuuming.I did a small test. I ordered the Hoover Corded Cyclonic stick, vacuumed the hallway floors and area rugs with my old cumbersome Dirt Devil and swept the floor. The Cyclonic stick came today. Assembled it less then 10 minutes and used in the same hallway floors and area rugs. I was amazed and slightly disgusted of how much dirt the old vacuum left behind. The vacuum cleaner is awesome! Very light weight vacuum but sturdy.

This is a great little vacuum. It is the corded version of the Linx cordless vacuum. Light and easy to use, it has great suction, a really easy to empty dust cup, and a brush roll that does the job on low pile carpets. I've had this vac for about a month and so far it is working out great. I love the super easy to empty dust cup, it is hands free, just touch the button and the bottom of the cup opens and all the dirt falls out, I don't have to use my hands to free the dirt and hair or a brush to clean out the dust cup. The cord is 20', so you can get a lot of area done before having to change plugs. I originally wanted to get the cordless version of this vacuum, but after reading the reviews of the battery life and comparing costs, I decided on this one, and I'm very happy with my decision. We live on a farm and have five dogs who come in and out of the house regularly, so dirt and hair are a real issue for us. This vacuum really does a great job on the dog hair and dirt, it is so much easier to use than my old upright, so light and easy to get into tight places without having to move heavy furniture. Would highly recommend this to anyone needing hard floor cleaning and low pile area rug cleaning. I don't have heavy pile carpet so I can't comment on it's ability to clean that, but on bare floors and low pile area rugs it is great.

I recommend this handy vacuum to anyone who wants a light weight quiet stick vacuum that picks up dirt well. The cup is super easy to empty and easy to hold and replace. The filter is easy to remove and clean. I have been searching for this type of vac and never saw anything like it in the stores. Amazon has the best price. The 20' cord is great. I couldn't believe all the dirt it picked up. Just be sure to empty it often (it's easy). Storage is great too. It doesn't take up much space.

I picked this corded model because of the price and also the hassle-free to charge the battery and only last 20 minutes at full change. Although sacrifice some convenice to carry around with cord, considering the much cheaper price and unlimited use time, I would recommend this one. As for vacuum power, it is great for both floor and low carpet (e.g. rugs). Very easy to maneuverer, and clean up.

I was looking for a light weight vacuum that was good for bare floors and carpeting. I've had it for a little more than a month and it met all of my expectations. It goes easily from bare floor to light carpeting and is excellent for vacuuming light throw rugs that larger vacuums suck right up! It's a handy little item for the price. Fast free shipping from Amazon was a plus. I highly recommend it.
